My 360 dies today with the three flashing red rings. The Xbox either freezes after 3 min running or just doesn't display anything at all.

Has anyone had to return their 360 and get a new one from EB? Do they just hand you a new closed box?

Is there anyway I can get data from my harddrive? Especially since it won't say on for more than 3 minutes?

If I lose everything from this hard drive will I be able to download all of my Arcade games down again? Are those linked to my 360 or my user name?

what they do is take your old system give you a new one fresh out of the box, but the swap hard drives so you get to keep the old HD and they i think keep the new HD. :D good luck

Did you or anyone else go through this with them?

I did.  I took everything but my hard drive to the store, and then they just gave me a new premium box and took out the hard drive.  Just remember that if you want your new system warrantied that you must buy it again because once you use the warranty, it's gone.

Yep, I've done it. I kept my HDD and swapped the rest. Going to do it again shortly before my PRP expires at the end of the year.
