Do you think I'm weird because I don't like Halo but I'm getting a 360?

It's fairly obvious that most people who buy the 360 (or the original Xbox) got it for Halo. I bought an original Xbox for Halo and Halo 2. I played them both and I felt that both were fairly average shooters. Personally I don't get what's so great about Halo.

I'm getting a 360 for Christmas (my parents have already bought it but I can't open it until Christmas morning) and I plan on getting Gears of War and Bioshock. I've played both for extensive periods of time and I love them both.

But do you think that's it's weird that I'm getting a 360 but I'm not getting Halo?

not weird at all. alot of people dont like halo. still its one of the most important games for Microsoft. I do play halo, like itand I got all three, but I bought an xbox(1) for DOA3 and Ghost Recon...lol now thats weird.

if you dont like halo, buy gears and Bioshock, excellent choice. I also recommend Rainbow6

i bought it for gears truthfully, and if you hear people talking about it on live i would try and avoid mentioning that you dont like halo, they tend to become racists pricks if you dont like halo (some of them atleast)linkin_guy109

I got the 360 for exclusive games like Blue Dragon, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Bioshock and Cry On. The world doesn't revolve aound Halo's averageness you know!!!

You're not missing anything with Halo. You got Gears and Bioshock...and what I would give to get to play Gears all over again for the first time. Enjoy!

suspect i just checked ur profile and you dont even have 360 as one of ur consoles and none of the games above is in ur playin or anything, and btw lacklustre graphics on halo3 now i no for sure you havent played it

no its not weird at all, I will never buy halo for myxbox i think its an average fps game andits not as good as people make it out to be.

No, I meant "Other People" as in the people who have responded to this thread and said that they don't like Halo either.
