If you do, what games do you play while listening to your 360?

If you don't, why don't you?

Personally, I would probably pick sometimes. I like to listen to music during multiplayer games. I never listen to music during single-player campaigns though.

I usually listen to it on xbox live. The only thing I hate about people listening to music is putting it on there Mics (While playing online), It's stupid IMO.

Typically I don't, because I have surround sound headphones, and like to focus on the footsteps of the enemy in order to get the jump on them. I'm typically really focused on the game and I'm very competitive, and whenever I listen to music I don't do too well, so I don't usually.

I do when playing CoD splitscreen with my friends but never during online play. It makes it too hard to hear people if we do actually try to use some teamwork. Never during campaigns either. Usually I listen to Metallica or System of a Down or Tenacious D

No I think it ruins the game for me at least. I want to hear the game not music plus it is a distraction.

Nope.

Too much effort, to be frank.

IF i ever want to listen to my own music, i just put on some headphones and listen to my iPod.

Yeah sometimes, but not with new games since I pay attention to the storyline. But still, there is nothing like playing gears while singing along to Flight of the Conchords.

Yeah sometimes. The only game I always play music to is when I'm playing Fight Night Round 4. I occasionally listen to music when I'm playing Red Dead Redemption, mostly Spanish.

ALL THE TIME. I make playlists from CD's I burned onto the harddrive for specific games.

For Gears 2 - I have gangster rap(late 90s and early 2000s, Big Pun, Ice Cube, Bizzy Bone)

For Red Dead Redemption - I play instrumentals from movies(Inception and Dark Knight soundtrack)

For Halo 3 - I play remixes of 8bit songs or trippy music (MC Chris, Redman, Eminem, etc.)

For Super Street Fighter IV - I play j-pop or anime series intros/themese(Yu Yu Hakusho, DBZ, Full Metal Alchemist)

For Call of Duty 4 - I just connect my iPod and play it on shuffle(my iPod has nothing but random new songs)

Music Distracts for some but it works fine for me.

Exactly my situation. Especially if I'm doing the between game and off-season stuff in a football game.

I do sometimes, listening to metal while jumping around owning makes me feel more awesome than I actually am, but the majority of the time I listen to the game.

Yeah, but only during Multiplayer. I just put it on low for background music. But I never play singleplayer with any of my music on.

Depends really. If I'm playing racing or sports games then yes or if I'm just mucking about on GTA online, but that's really about the only time I'll listen to music while I'm playing.

No when playing Modern warfare 2, bad company 2 and Gears 2.

Yup, but there's only ONE game I own that I never played music playing it - Arkham Asylum. Love that game too much.

Sometimes I do. I put on some rock when playing "Gears of War" deathmatch and stuff, it really sets the mood. I also have on racing games. But I actually never listen to any on campaign mode in any game, usually just multiplayer shooters i've already beaten.

The only time I really use the feature is when I'm playing Crackdown. Some of the most fun I've had in gaming is cranking up some "aggressive music", turning the difficulty up, and taking the war (and my rocket launcher) to the gangs of Pacific City!

I suppose I do use it in other games, it's just not frequent like it is in Crackdown.
