Loli have Crackdown so I am gonna go with that. It may not have a great story but hacking so many zombies is repetitive and painful.

dead-rising of course.the blood the carnage,a good story line, the chainsaws, the graphics(on a HDTV)the only flaw in my book the save points are to far apart.crack down is good too. it has its high points.but overall........DEAD-RISING. or just buy both like me!!but you'll be playing dead-rising more.

I rented crackdown and had a good time with it but didnt really want to play anymore of it after i took it back, but after renting dead rising i wanted to play more still so i bought it. So i like dead rising a bit more, i also love everything zombie so that helps dead rising a lot.

I prefer Crackdown. It took me a while to get into Crackdown. I played it for about 15 minutes and put it back on the shelf of a couple of months. But when I finally picked it up again I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Dead Rising is kinda in a similar niche for me. I just couldn't get into it. I have yet to bother with it again.

I haven't put enough time into dead rising to say for sure, but crackdown was a really pleasant surprise to me. i bought it for the beta expecting it to be pure crap, but it turned out to be a whole lot of fun, and worth the $60 without the beta. But I've been really impressed from what I've played in dead rising, so I cannot really say for sure.

Dead Rising is my favorite game of the last two console generations. I recognize that it's far from perfect, but it is perfect for me and the types of games I like. And because I'm a total zombie nut it fits nicely with Dawn of the Dead and World War Z and Walking Dead and all the other zombie movies/books/comics that I love so much.

Crackdown was great too of course. I enjoyed both games. But DR wins in my book. Crackdown does get major points for having some of the best downloadable content availablefor any game to date though.

Dead Rising. Crackdown got EXTREMELY boring for me about 30 minutes-1 hour into the game. Of course, Dead Rising has you "killing zombies over and over again," for lack of a better description, but Crackdown has you killing mob bosses over....and over.....AND over again using the same general method with very little strategy involved.

I have played the game and read what the person that wrote a post about 4 posts above said about the game. Talk, take pictures, talk, take pictures and such.

I have both and love both. I havent played much Deadrising due to the frustrating save system. Having to back track to a save point while escorting and or dieing is just lame. Saving shouldnt hender your gaming experience or time.

Ironically.. i find both games crap.

I played the demo of Dead Rising and I liked it. So I bought the full game. What a piece of junk. It was boring after 30 minutes. The saving system is although "cool", it makes the game really hard at times. Also, the boss fights are ridicilious. Why does it take 5 minutes of shooting to take down a HUMAN?

Crackdown? I even got bored playing the demo. So repeatative. Also.. auto aim? Dude, thats so PS2.

Of course this is only my opinion.

Crackdown.

I own them both. Let me put it this way:

Crackdown= Sand box game with some the addicting leveling up mechanics of a RPG.

and on top of that, you are able to do the whole thing with a friend!

IMHO Co-op is what really makes this game tons of fun.

Deadrising= Is a lot of fun, but really really hard. If you screw up, you'll have to start all over again!

BTW, anyone needs a co-op buddy send me an invite to: Classik Savor
