Connecting 360 controller to PC

The microsoft support site didnt help at all. So how do I do this?

Well if you are using a wireless controller, you need one of these

and if it's wired plug it in and plug and play should do the rest (you may need to tell it to look for drivers online)

The wired 360 controller works right away (can download a driver also from windows update).

The wireless ones though wont work right away, you need to buy an adaptor for that one.

But I have a wired 360 controller for my PC and it works great! :)

what places sell those by themselves
