I am a fan of RPGs and Shooters. I have plenty of shooters to go around so I would like an RPG. Is Conan good? Does the MMO function work good on XBL? Thx.
well conan isnt an RPG so its cod4 all the way! conana is just a bad version of god of war, if u like rpgs so much then wait for mass effect.........but i think 9/10 ppl would get cod4 over conan cause its amazing and the online play will give u loadss of hours of gaming!!!! its well gd
conan is just exactly the same as god of war, just a hack and slash thing although i dont know bout that online thing! but the graphics are poor, gameplay is repetative and it will get boring fast! just get god of war 2 4 ps2 cause u'll have much more fun with that!
but u will have double the fun with cod4 cause its AMAZING!!! and will keep u playing for sooo long online cause the ranking system makes u want to play on to get more guns etc get cod4
I thought Conan was an RPG. Least thats the impression I made for it. They said it had an online MMO feature and everything.chester706
There is a Conan MMORPG being made for the consoles but that won't be out till 2008,the Conan thats out now is a cheap rip off of God of War and not worth 60$ but my friend rented it and it is worth a rental but no way would i consider dropping 60$ on it, maybe used for 15$-20$
Conan is no way a recommandable game and if you are having a option of COD4 please choose it. I actually played conan at my cousins house and their I saw the game had poor voice acting, I mean conan talke like gentleman in a game, Not only that there was a battle with dragon which was hevily borrowed from GOW and it was so funny that I laughed at it for the whole time. Not only that later on there was a level where all the enemy looked like Kratos. Man I was so pissed with the game that I cant recommand it to anyone.

Hey the conan you are looking for is actually "age of conan", and its a MMorpg which is coming next year. So dont get confused with the Conan release recently.
Conan is a rent because its fun for a while but COD4 will last a longer time and you will have more fun with it. Plus the online and the multiplayer is great in that game.
CoD4 or Conan? Hmm...decisions, decisions. Seriously, Conan? I would have never thought to think that one would bother to decide between the two. Get CoD4.
ya dude, cod 4 is an experience, conan is just....not very cool. It isn't an MMO, in fact there is no online at all. It's an exact clone of GOW and was fun for a bit but it gets old. COD4 all the way man, it was sweet.
besides god of war is WAYYY better than conan. if anyone hasnt played god of war, you should play it. fun gameplay, good story and yes boobies (in the first one anyways). i personally enjoy greek mythology and theres plenty of it in the games.
Definitely one of my favorites. Another reason why i should buy a ps3 (when its cheaper of course) for God of war 3.

Conan sucks, CoD 4 is possibly the Game of the Year, easily.
But if you want an RPG, wait a couple days (20th) and get Mass Effect. You won't be disappointed.
