Only new console I have is a WiiU and I am holding out on XB1/PS4 at least until next christmas. I'm now filling in the blanks of my 360 library, helped by games with gold.

Anyone here got any more suggestions?

My collection:

  • Assassin's Creed Heritage Collection (only played I and II so far)
  • Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
  • Batman Arkham Asylum
  • Batman Arkham City
  • Battleblock Theatre
  • Bioshock
  • Bioshock 2
  • Bioshock Infinite - is the DLC any good?
  • Borderlands
  • Borderlands 2: GotY
  • Braid
  • Brother's A Tale of Two Sons
  • Burnout Paradise
  • Call of Duty 2
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - I am one of the few people who buys CoD for the story
  • Castle Crashers
  • Condemned
  • Condemned 2
  • Dark Souls - waiting on the PC/next gen release of Souls 2
  • Darksiders II
  • Dead Rising
  • Dead Space Trilogy
  • Devil May Cry 4
  • Dirt 3
  • Dishonoured
  • Driver San Fransisco - if only there was more of this...
  • Dust: An Elysian Tale
  • Earth Defence Force 2025 - co-op trash
  • Elder Scrolls: Oblivion GotY
  • Elder Scrolls: Skyrim GotY
  • Eternal Sonata
  • F1 2011
  • Fable II
  • Fallout 3 GotY
  • Fallout New Vegas
  • FIFA
  • Force Unleashed
  • Forza 2 and 3 - leaving the series until next gen
  • Gears of War Trilogy
  • Geometry Wars 2
  • GTA IV + DLC

  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Red Faction Guerilla
  • Rez HD
  • Rock Band
  • Saints Row the Third
  • Splinter Cell: DA; Conviction; Blacklist
  • SSX
  • Skate 3
  • Street Fighter IV
  • Super Meat Boy
  • Tales of Vesperia
  • Tomb Raider

  • Need for Speed Most Wanted
  • Race Drive Grid - should I just get Grid 2?
  • Rage - any good? Should I get it on PC?
  • Shift 2 - worth owning alongside Dirt, Grid and Forza?

Bayonetta, but since you have a WiiU you should just buy Bayonetta 2 and it comes with 1. Catherine is a great game as well(its mature, dunno how old you are).

@ankor77:

Yeah I've heard Catherine being talked about on podcasts. Sounds interesting, might add it to the list.

Also, I have Bayonetta 2 on Wii U. Good shout though

Get the pc versions of max payne 3 (looks way better and very well optimized) and metal gear rising (but you have to download a fix for 60fps if using hdmi)

The Orange Box is great. Dragon Age Origins and The Witcher 2 are definitely worth a look if you're at all into fantasy RPG's.

Awesome collection btw

I'd recommend adding to your collection, either on X360 or whatever other systems you own:

  • Alan Wake
  • Alan Wake: American Nightmare
  • Beautiful Katamari
  • Binary Domain
  • Boom Boom Rocket (XBLA)
  • Brother In Arms: Hell's Highway
  • Bulletstorm
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • Call of Duty 2
  • Call of Duty: World At War
  • Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood
  • Catherine
  • Child of Eden
  • Crysis 2
  • Civilization Revolution
  • Dante's Inferno
  • Dead Island: GOTY Edition
  • Dead Island: Riptide
  • Dead Rising 2
  • Deadly Premonition
  • Dirt 2
  • The Dishwasher
  • The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile
  • Fez (XBLA)
  • Final Fantasy XIII
  • Final Fantasy XIII-2
  • From Dust (XBLA)
  • Ghostbusters
  • Hitman: Absolution
  • Just Cause 2
  • LA Noire
  • Lost Planet
  • Lost Planet 2
  • Max Payne 3
  • Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition
  • NFL Blitz (XBLA)
  • NBA Jam: On Fire Edition (XBLA)
  • Orange Box
  • Portal: Still Alive (XBLA) - will be in Orange Box if you get that
  • Portal 2
  • Resident Evil 4 HD (XBLA)
  • Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition
  • Resident Evil 6
  • R.U.S.E.
  • Shadow Complex (XBLA)
  • Space Marines (WH40K)
  • Split/Second: Velocity
  • Syndicate
  • The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (GOTY Edition)
  • The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
  • Tom Clancy's Endwar
  • Tomb Raider (2013) - free on GwG right now, you just listed Tomb Raider not sure which one you meant
  • Tomb Raider: Anniversary
  • Tomb Raider: Legend
  • Tomb Raider: Underworld
  • Toy Soldiers (XBLA)
  • Toy Soldiers: Cold War (XBLA)
  • Walking Dead: Season 1 (XBLA)
  • Walking Dead: Season 2 (XBLA)

Also, I see you don't have any Battlefield games, they've become crap for their SP over time but they're still one of the best online MP games (I like it more than COD by far, in fact I'm not a fan of COD online MP myself). Anyhow, not sure the games are worth playing on Xbox 360 anymore, not sure if they have an active online community, but just in case you're looking for a decent one, pick up Battlefield Bad Company 2 if you can find out if it still has an active online community. If you have a gaming PC you might have better luck there.

You seem to have a taste for well made single player games. These are the games on the system I'd consider to be classic, must owns.

Alan Wake (A cult classic.)

The Darkness 2 (Incredibly well put together arcade shooter.)

Dragon Age: Origins (Get on a different system if you have the ability -- this is the worst port of what remains a phenomenal journey.)

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (Another cult classic.)

Fable Anniversary (An excellent title even 10 years on.)

F.E.AR. (One of the finest shooters of the last generation.)

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (In my personal opinion, a highly underrated single-player and co-op shooter with an excellent variety in mission design, fun gadgets and gunplay, and a fantastically addicting weapon customization system.)

The Godfather (An oldie, but a goodie. Nothing else quite captures the essence of crime like this one, even if it may feel a bit archaic in design at this point.)

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II (One of the best console RTS's available.)

Max Payne 3 (One of the finest third person shooters ever crafted.)

Need for Speed: Most Wanted [2005] (Best in the series up to this point.)

Portal 2 (It doesn't get more charming than this. You can feel the love that went into this title -- tinkered with to nigh perfection are every puzzle, dialogue quip and story beat.)

Pure (Fantastically fun arcade racing.)

Saints Row (Far better than any other game in the series, only to be matched by the sequel.)

Saints Row 2 (See above^)

The Serious Sam Collection (Like a shmup in FPS form -- absolute chaos and absolutely classics)
