im on the fence about this cause its like cod4 had a great great single player though short, but i dont like the multiplayer all that much.. halo 3 had an okish single play and a good online mode minus some of the maps being totaly horrible.
I have played and loved both, and its a little tough for me to choose which one was better because I'm a huge fan of both series, but I'd have to say that CoD4 has a bit of an edge with the whole online playability factor because too many people hack into Halo 3 and use mods, and also a few of the multiplayer maps for Halo weren't as great as they could be.
Haha how great..another topic to try and start Halo bashing. I dont see why people bash Halo. I dont even really have a call on which one of these games are better. There differenet..one is a run and gun shooter and the others more realistic and in my opinion both do everything they try to do well. Halo still has that solid halo multiplayer millions have come to love oever the years and well CoD4 still has that solid multiplayer people have come to love. Im just glad the 360 got 2 awesome shooters that we can play online and have a blast with.
Call of Duty 4 is a lot of fun, but its multiplayer options feel a bit stripped-down in comparison to Halo 3. Because of this I think Halo will be the game that keeps me coming back.
Call of Duty 4 is in no way a bad game, but I'll admit: I enjoyed Halo 3 more, and probably won't play much more of COD4.
Admittedly, I'm a bit bored with the trend of modern/realistic war games right now, so despite COD4 being a great game, I couldn't help but find it generic. Personally, I'm just a fan of some fantastical things, and Halo supplied that for me. Both great games, though.
i've played both alot but i have to go with COD 4 as well.I loved playing halo 3 when it came out, but soon as i got COD that is all i played. A few days ago i put halo in for a few minutes and was really disappointed so i just put COD back in!
