COD 4 or Mass Effect??

I am trying to decide which game to get, between COD4 and Mass Effect. I know about the games, and what types of games they are, but I was just wondering which game people thought was a better overall experience/game?

Its awfully hard to compare which is better because they aren't even in the same gaming genre... I'd have to say both are the top of their class though. Mass Effect is probably the best RPG on the 360 and COD4 is definately at the top if not near the top for FPS period.

If your a multiplayer type of gamer... I would have to say go for COD4 cause online is amazing in that game.
If your really into single player campaigns then go for Mass Effect. I played ME over the holidays and finished the campaign in a week or so.. I put in 40 hours into that character :) I've yet to play through again because it was alot to take in the first time around... but i'll get around to it again in the future!

If all you want is multi-player then COD4.

If you want single player then Mass Effect

Both games have a great storyline. I feel that you get a little more story out of Mass Effect.

If you want a great online shooter, go with COD4. If you're more focused on single player, Mass Effect far exceeded my expectations.

I agree i love RPGS and would say go with mass effect but if you want a game with multiplayer then go with COD4

Depends on if you want a singleplayer or multiplayer experience. Mass Effect is an amazing game, but it is strictly singleplayer. That said you can easily get 60+ hours of enjoyment out of ME if you do the sidequests and exploration stuff and multiple playthroughs (M is one of the few games that really makes you want to play through again). COD 4 has a really short multiplayer campaign, but it has amazing multiplayer. You will be able to play it online for quite a while most likely and deriv a great deal of enjoyment from it.

So it really breaks down to personal preference, but ME would be my choice.

I own both and both are really fun but I would say there is a lot more replay value in COD4 then Mass Effect. If i had to only choose one it would be COD4.

I disagree with the replay value. COD4 has great replay value but not better than mass effect at all.

cod 4 for great great online play or mass effect for the best rpg you will ever play to this date.
