can x box live be connected in a country that doesnt support it

i want to connect x box live and play with my friends in the same country i was wondering if i could do that + out of curiosity can the xbox live internet cable be bought because i need a long wire to connect it to my modem + it's not wireless

yes you can play but cannot buy points from credit card then.just choose USA
