I am 40. Look, I've seen posts like this before and the replies are usually full of "you're a **** and "you shouldn't buy the game in the first place" and "boo censorship" and other adolescent jabs from oversexed, irresponsible morons. It would be nice if the good games could be played by more people - not just for the gore gluts and porn addicts. I for one would like to play Dishonored for my own reasons - and I don't have to justify those reasons to anyone - just because I would like less gore. But if you want to know, I have kids . Yeah, I could chase them out of the room - and I do - but I don't want to see the gushers either. I've scaped enough bodies off pavement and have seen more real blood than most of you little kiddies (no matter how old you are). And I don't find gratuitous gore entertaining. So, please - keep your smug remarks to yourself. If anyone actually has this game and can tell me one way or the other - I'd appreciate it. thanks.ronjayates5:lol:
Simple answer, no. There is no option to turn off the blood. Although, it's not even a fraction as bloody and gory as like 90% of the mainstream violent video games out there. Also, it is entirely possible (and you even get an achievement or two) to play the whole game without shedding a drop, or killing a single person. Even the main mission "assassination targets" have optional "nonlethal" ways to deal with them.
Also. It's not even approaching a level that could be described as "gratuitous" by any stretch of the imagination. And, nice rant about how everyone who thinks turning off blood is stupid are some kind of "oversexed, irresponsible morons" and/or "gore gluts and porn addicts". I don't give a sh!t if you're 40 years old and have kids, that is an immature, uninformed and frankly, incredibly stupid attitude. Which is not at all unheard of. Some of the most stupid and immature people I know are twice my age.
Holy crap, there it goes, finally. Damn BONK sh!t. Thanks for making me septuple post, glitchspot.
