buying a horse?

im playing oblivion right now and i was thinking that i needed a horse. a black horse is 5000. and i only have 8000. i heard that you get a horse from the dark brotherhood. can you tell me in what mission you get it because i am allready in one of the highest, if not the highest ranks in the dark brotherhood. or do you guys think i should go ahead, and buy the horse.

You can get a Unicorn for free between Bravil and Imperial city in the wilderness, it is near four minutaurs. Well, its in the ps3 version, not sure about the 360. (Or if you need the Knights of the Nine)forgot_my_name

yeah it's in the 360 version and you don't need KoTN. It freaks out if you try to ride it though.

well if u buy the horse don't try and see if it comes back to life when u kill it lol

i did that and no it doesn't come back (that was a waste of $5000!):oops:

To get Shadowmere, you need to get to the missions that you do directly for Lucien Lachance. Shadowmere outside at the fort that Lucien stays in, Fort Farragut (I think I got that name right).

I've done that. Oh well, an Orc decked out in fullMadness Armor with a Shadowrend battle Axe wouldn't exactly look badass on a unicorn.

:lol: to true. Whats the bet you buy the horse have it for a few minutes run into a Minotaur and it gets killed, it makes it even more amusing if you cast paralyze on a palace guard who is riding one and steal his. Oh the joy of watching him chase you yelling " by the gods! " :lol:

lol thats me right there.

run and jump everywhere you go... it builds up your endurance, athleticism, acrobatics, etc...

build your stats, wear some enchantments, and learn some spells, and you can outrun anything in the game...
