Bungie said they'll be on post launch support duty. For how long and if Microsoft/343 feels that where Bungie leaves off is enough will remain to be seen.
Yeah not surprised either..I saw this on Bungie's update last Friday. I think one achievement might use those eegg Banshees that you can spawn on "The Package" mission. As no one has figured out what they are there for and where they are suppose to take you.
Just like the Halo 3 Ghosts on the last campaign mission.

I've been kind of wondering this as well, but I would tend to think that Bungie will see through supporting Reach's DLC.DJ at PAX or Comic con Bungie said they will start out the DLC and when they feel 343 is ready they will pass over everything to 343 . so bungie and 343 are working pretty close bungie is showing them the ropes . Um but yeah this is no surprise they said they will support this game like any other halo . i just wanna see an update to include custom matchmaking . but yeah bungie will start off the DLC and 343 will finish it . kindda wierd if you ask me but we get to see two styles in DLC to get a early judge of what 343 is capable of .

How would they do that with its Ending ? Considering the ending didn't follow canon they can f*** it up even more with new DLC. Really I would like to see not only maps, but many a Forge World snow / sand variant or a whole new forge world (possibly smaller) that is of one of those new types. This grass and forrunner crap is boring.

How would they do that with its Ending ?The DLC wouldn't have to use Noble Team. I'm talking about an Episodes from Liberty City type DLC. Maybe show the same conflict from a different perspective or show something completely different. Maybe it could be the invasion from the Covenant perspective. IDK. I don't work for Bungie. It's up to them to come up with the ideas.

It's up to them to come up with the ideas. I would think any campaign type DLC will be like Halo ODST. Maybe not necessarily a completely separate disc, but an extension to the campaign with a different character. That's originally what ODST was supposed to be until it expanded to the game that it was.
