for me it has to be the first time i played xbox live period it was SOF2 at my cousins that game still stands today as one of the funnest multiplayer fun ive ever had
I'd have to go back to n64 with mario kart and then goldeneye and smash bros.
currently i enjoy cod4 but i have to say the first multiplayer experience on these games was extreme, maybe bcoz few games and consoles supported up to 4 players back then
Return to Castle Wolfenstein on PC. PGR2 was the first Live game that i played where every night, the whole room was just friends and it was so much fun. Actually, i think any decent game when you get it full of friends makes for a great online experience. On CoD4 we get enough guys to fill an entire room and its always great fun. Same with Rainbow 6, GRAW, Gears, Forza, Burnout Paradise, the list goes on and on. When its a bunch of friends, its the best.
In general, I would say the original Halo with my dorm buddies. Once I got live, I would say COD4. That is truely, even months after its release, the best multiplayer experience IMHO. I just can't get enough!
