Video games make a huge portion of most males lives. Teenage years-all you think about is video games---twenties-you've mastered most games....now have the cash to buy quite a few 30's-you turn into a collector, buying all your favorites when you were a teen/twenty something-40's-family is #1. plus, you might not want anyone to know you still play video games..50's- I dont know anyone over 50 that enjoys video games....so I'd say, when you turn 40, that might be the right age to get out of gaming...what do you think?

With this day and age vieo games are becoming more mainstream and soon will rival that of the televsion and movie industries. Do you know 50 year olds who watch movies?

Uhmm, never. My parents startet playing after they turned 50. They love the minigames on the DS. So you are never too old to play.

When you get older, you get children and a new excuse to play games. Your children will get children, so you can play with you grandchildren.

Boy, video games sure wasn't all I thought about during my teens years. Sex was number one on my list.

I'm 34 and still play videogames. It is an expensive, but fun hobby. I look forward to playing games with my kids someday.

yes, I have seen 50 year olds watch movies....they had movies back in the 1930's. I have not see a person over 50 buying games for themselves.

It's dumb to bring up the 50 year old thing because they didn't have video games growing up. If you continue to enjoy video games as you get older, keep playing them. It's that simple.

Either you didn't pick up what the other person put down, or you did. I can't quite figure it out yet.

um i'm sorry, but that's stupid. who said that the day i turned into a teenager all i thought about was video games? i mean yeah i think about them from time to time, but, being a teen, i have a lot to think about. and who ever said i should stop playing? as i get older video games are probably going to get better and better, not to mention more popular. and even if they're not, when i turn 50, who gives a **** what people think about me? even now, who really cares? i mean, good for you that you want people to think good of you, but i dont care. i'll do what makes me happy regardless of other peoples thoughts.

If you still find enjoyment then you'll still play. Theres no set age to stop playing video games and there never was and never will be. Its a different era and games are a growing portion of the entertainment media.

Well with the Wii out I have seen older people playing it for excercise and stuff. I think the Wii is a good excuse for adults to still play video games.
