I know I will definately be picking up Assassin's Creed but I'm also going to get another game but I don't know what to get. I was thinking about getting Kane and Lynch but once I heard how it was flamed, I wouldn't want to feel that way after I bought it. I was also thinking about getting the Orange Box. Five great games but I don't think I would play TF2 that much, and I already beat Portal at a friend's house. The last game is Mass Effect. I like the RPG element and everything. Mainly from those that bought the game, can you start the game at the hardest level or do you have to beat hard then unlock it? Thanks in advance for all of your help.
I just finished AC and it was great a little repetitive but the interesting story and excellent gameplay make up for it. I don't really have anything to play but I'm going to pick up a few games for Christmas like Mass Effect which looks amazing. I need some good single player games I'm getting sick of multiplayer.

I'd get the orange box. i've played team fortress a ton, i got more than an hour on each character and around 3 hours on 2 and i've only had it for like a week or two. that adds up to around like..10-14 hours of playing. i love TF2 lol. Im planning on renting mass effect over christmas so i have stuff to do.
mass effect is amazing. It is eazily the best game of next gen consoles. Get ME! i got both ME and AC, ac gets a little repetetive, its fun but you really cant replay it much. While mass effect is huge, fun and is lots and lots of hours of gameplay (oblivion size)
wow, DO NOT get kane and lynch.... i saw jeff's review of it on youtube and it looks so bad and he explained all the flaws... the 6.0 or 6.5 he gave it looked generous
you can play Mass Effect on the hard difficulty without having to beat it on normal first.I got the limited Edition and it was well worth the extra 10 bucks, you get 4 themes, 12 or so gamers pics, 2 extra booklets and a full soundtrack of songs from the game. This game is the one to get.
