I am getting one of these 2 games for Christmas.I only play SP so the length of COD4 might be an issue but it still looks hard to pass up. Any suggestions from someone who has both.

AC has a nice long, awesome story. I cant say the same for COD 4. But COD does have good multiplayer.

If you only play single player then get Mass Effect or Orange Box.

AC is a fun game, but it feels like a last-gen game dressed up with a current-gen coat of paint. The whole "investigate and plan the assassination" thing boils down to completeing repetitive mini-games. The sword fights are cool, and it is satisfying to finally assassinate your target, but it fails to live up to expectations, sadly.

Rent COD 4 for like 8 dollars at blockbuster and youll be able to beat it in under a week, and buy assasins creed, IMO.

Assassin's Creed has got a pretty interesting setting for a story, but it doesn't develop almost at all during the missions. After all the assasinations I don't know much more than I knew in the beginning. Another problem in AC is that it's too simple, too easy to enjoy much. It's almost numbing, but still, in a weird way, addicting.

I would say get rock band, but between those two you should get assasins creed.
