I'm not one of these people who say rts cannot be done on console. Sure, as a pc gamer i think kb mouse is easier but they can work very well with a pad also. If any rts game would be great with a pad its wic. I wondered if 360 gamers are excited about this title. Personally i think this is the only recent rts to rival company of heroes and it's also one of the best multiplayer games i have ever played. Yes i am a wic fanboy lol. Most of my friends own a 360 and almost all of them never really talk as wic as one of the big pre release titles, even though i'm constantly talking about how amazing it is.

maybe it was a big mistake to expect mature reply's in a console forum. Maybe its because rts games take a little grey matter to play, something you obviously lack.

i played a bit of WiC at a m8s and i thought it was really good.

If they can keep thegameplay and have a good control scheme, then it will be an awesome game when you are tired of Halo or CoD4 (those are both great btw).

Theyre also gonna bring supreme commander on to the 360 but i think that'll be inferior to the PC version, i reckon the scale of the game is too large.

Could be a little more mature about it? Apparently not.

No offense, but no. I'm just not into RTS, I find them slow paced and extremely *yawn*.

sup com is a good game i guess. I just found it a little, dare i say it... Hardcore? Maybe thats too strong a word. Wic is just plain fun. I also think wic will work so well on a console.

trust me on this, wic is unlike other rts games. Its fast, furious and all out action. No gathering, no building bases, just air drop units and all out war.

I'm interested to see how they do with it. Every other console RTS I've played has paled in compairson to PC versions. They are slow, cumbersome, and small. The joy of an RTS is hotkeying to all 5 battles your wadging at any time, as well as controliing your 3 bases and trying to bring reinforcements up to the front. And trying to do all that in 10 seconds. You just can't do that in any console RTS I've seen. They are just too damn slow and simple.

this is true with games such as sup com and coh, i do however feel wic, because of how the game plays, will work very well on console. I could be wrong though.

After a impulse buy of C&C3 (in part due to GS's rave review of it) I'm hesitant to try an RTS again. That game was so bad.

I thınk controls will be ok.I played it on pc.You control maximum 6-8 unit in multiplayer. You dont need to build barracks, factory etc and dont need to collect supply. You think only war. It's like tactical game. But its important to communicate. The battles like, rock, scissors, paper game. For example gunship owns heavy tank, anti airs owns gunships...

Not really. Don't get me wrong though. I really loved this game on pc, played it hour after hour. I just don't like rts games like this on a console, it just doesn't feel right with an xbox controller. Still, if you don't have a pc to play it on, I would definately try it on the 360.

The only strategy I seem te be enjoying lately is Advance Wars.

Tiberium Wars felt so bland, I absolutely loved Tiberian Sun though:roll:

I've grown out of the genre I guess.

I played the game on the PC and appreciated it very much. I don't think I'll get this for the 360 though.

no offense but don't judge the modern rts genre on c&c. Things have moved on and thats why i hated c&c 3. Sup com, wic and coh are the new generation and offer so much more than tired old c&c.
