Im not happy with the new update from e3, the interface looks so childish, avatars, cmon man, If i wanted that stuff i would get a wii, i like the 360 to be a man console not no flashy Avatar stuff,
I think the current interface is pretty solid. The marketplace and all that stuff really needs an overhaul, but the blade system is good as it is in my opinion.

I persoanlly i love all the features but i just dont like whole idea of the interface with avatars, and it having the same kinda media and method as the ps3, update is truly amazing but, I hope theres a way to change it if you dont like it
The new UI, not at all. Compared to the current, Skittles-inspired blades system color palette, the new, more minimalistic menus look more slick and more "mature".

I think it more resembles the menu system of Windows Media Center and the Zune. In fact, it has more in common with the latest iPod interface than it does with the PS3's XMB.
holy s***. everyone should just stop complaining about this already. it's not even out yet.. it's not going to be like the mii's because you can acutally unlock things for your avatars. i'm sure you'll have fun dressing your avatar up like your favorite game by unlocking clothing from achievements.

So you love the features, aside from the avatars, yet youre saying the update as a whole is going to suck? You need to think a bit. Who cares if you dont like it. Its simple, GO STRAIGHT TO PLAYING THE GAMES. Wow, that was hard :roll:

We're talking Microsoft here people, we won't have an option not to update after very long, so get used to it. Microsoft likes stealing software apps and ideas and then forcing it with market share. so we don't exactly have a choice, lets all just bend over spread our cheeks and pretend that our sadist masters have been good to us.

If by unlocking u mean buying with your MS points for $10 then pass I am sick of DLC.

I'll just place my xbox on the shelf and buy a pc for gaming.
That crap drives me nuts, if Ms adds the possibility of you having your avatar dead on a pool of blood...

Im a netflix subsciber so I will like this. A lot of cool stuff on this update but i love my gamerpic. Forget these avatars. Im not the last airbender. If i want people to know what i look like i will buy a vision camera. I dont need a cartoon of myself. What will happen if i press the button in the middle

I dont know why they have to try and fix something that isnt broken! I thought xbox was good at being kind of the dark side of gaming and not the kiddie wii side! if i wanted a wii i would buy a wii.
