Any chance this year can beat last year's "Year For Games"?

2008 is a great year for games, atleast for me, because I'm still playing many of those 2007 games you listed :)

There are a lot of big titles coming out towards the end of the year, and with already games like GTAIV, MGS4 scoring 10/10 we've not done badly so far

2007 was both good and bad for me I bought about 6 games.

Halo 3 - I liked it for about two weeks, then traded it in.

DMC4 - awful. I traded it in.

Mass Effect - It was alright but I got bored and never finished the game. Maybe I will someday.

Orange Box - I love the orange box. It's probably my favorite 360 game to date.

COD4 - Great game, I still play it sometimes.

Assassin's Creed - I rented this, loved it. Way too short though.

So, It was a really mixed year for me. I think 2008 will be more positive for me.

great games last year: Bioshock, The Orange box, Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4

great games in 2008 and some others that seems great: GTA IV, (for me) RSV2, Soul Calibur IV, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Far Cry 2,Fallout 3, Call of Duty W@W, and Banjo Kazooie...so it seems a great year

I think this year beats last year.

Last year my list of games I was interested in was about 15-20 games long.

This year that list is 43 games long.

This year is insane for games.
