I had it once or twice but not too often...I think its a connection problem of some sort :? I dunno

Yes I have been getting this every time for a couple days. Customer service mentioned some known issues and just told me to wait it out, after having me drag my xbox to a neighbor's that isn't getting it to try his connection, where I still got the error. I guess it only affects certain consoles or maybe certain accounts. Anyways after moving my 360 for the first time in years it is a lot louder now!

Yes, I found this thread by googling 801553c2 actually. That is exactly what it says.

More customer service calls from different people = faster repair (I would hope)

My neighbor still doesn't get it even though he is on the same ISP and like I said I even tried from his connection and still got it on mine.
