Kotaku gamer Census 2010:

From: http://kotaku.com/5500495/kotaku-census-2010-the-results-in-full

At least Microsoft is being fairly good about warranty though. What does this tell you? It tells me that you should keep your 360 is a well ventilated place.

I love how some people takes an online poll and think it is in any way scientific or representative of the general public.

Well, it's Kotaku, and it's not just one poll, it's a complete census. There are about 50 questions in there.

Even without number's you can't deny that RROD is a problem that has affected the majority of Xbox 360 owners. Otherwise you wouldn't have heard as much of a public outcry. Personally my Xbox 360 has RROD twice, and so have the Xboxes of five other people I know. I do not know any Xbox 360 owner who has never experienced an RROD>

Definately should be higher. I go to Kotaku at least once a day and I didn't vote. I've had two red ring on me. Fan boys might get mad but ms made a crappy product that was fun to play. They do seem to have things under control for now though. I've had my Elite Jasper for some time now.

Really?

And they had to give up their serial numbers and claim numbers from Microsoft to be allowed to vote in the poll?

how would that be fair to the fan boys who lied about not having one, the #s would be astronomical!

Think about it this way: Would the majority of fanboys even be able to concentrate long enough to answer 50 questions? Probably not.

The poll is dubious. It's the internet and identity politics-- you're going to get too many skewed responses. That said, RROD is an agknowledged problem that has, it seems, been addressed. I don't understand why it has been rehashed over and over and over again.

Keep in mind that anyone could vote in that, including people who don't have 360's.
