360 Cut Off Date

Does anyone know when the 360 will officially stop being supported?

Also, does that mean you won't be able to use them anymore - or at least not with xbox live?

One thing is for sure, you will be able to play every single X360 game for many years to come as long as it's in the BC list, X1 BC games actually run on the X360 servers so those are not going to be shut down soon.

I don't think the Xbox Live servers for the 360 are gonna stop because those servers also work on backward compatible games on the XB1. But they have stopped the production of 360s though.

As far as retail copy games go, there are only 4 games available to pre-order right now. The new Lego Star Wars, Madden 17, Tales from the Borderlands, and TMNT. Looks like its about done. The 360 had an epic run. I have so many games in my backlog still. My 360 gets more play than my One right now.

Still have time to play AC: Rogue, then.

Good, even through my 360 still runs fine, it's good to know that when I do get an XB1, I'll still be able to enjoy the load of 360 tittles that I have.
