I was wondering if there was a huge difference between the said resolutions. Thanks!

Most 360 games are native 720 so running it at 1080P wont be nearly noticeable or enough to make you go wow.
Plus if the TV is smaller you're even less likely to notice anything between the 2.
Yes, but 1366x768 is not a common resolution for TV. It would be better to use a 1080p (it's better if he wants to watch TV)Most 360 games are native 720 so running it at 1080P wont be nearly noticeable or enough to make you go wow.

Well I assumed since he asked this in a 360 board that it had more to do with the games but yes I'd recommend the 1080p tv or setting cause it's always nice to have it now and know you have it later when newer stuff comes out.

No broadcasts even use 1080p, it's always 720p or 1080i, which is hard to notice the difference on. 1080p would be a good choice for future proofing, but only blu ray and PC tends to use this. Everything else is upscaled and slightly degraded. If the TV is small (32" or less), I'd save money by buying a 720p, or simply waiting until I could buy a 42-50"+ 1080p set.[QUOTE="Mr_arizona"]
