Hi, for some reason my game saves are getting corrupted.

The thing is its only happening to 1 game.

Its Dead or Alive Ultimate.

I can play the game fine and its will save everything but if i exit the game and put it on again and load my profile it says it is corrupted.

Any idea whats wrong? This is the only game its happens with.

Thanks for the help.

It sounds like it's the game not the console, try cleaning the disc or just get a new copy. Or what may help is buy a disc drive cleaner those really help, they are a disc you put in the drive and it has a small brush on the bottom that will clean the lens. Hope this helps.

I had a similar problem with my Xbox when playing Unreal Championship 2. Creating a new game within my profile would lead to it becoming corrupt. Going into the list of saved games in the Xbox dashboard (no disc in Xbox), and deleting all of the game's profile and then starting from scratch fixed it. I think there must have been a bad sector on the Xbox hard drive. I've had no problem since.

YEa, that's what i was going to suggest. It's probably a problem with the game's file save overwrite thingy.

I'm sure the OP appreciates a post like that. Thanks for wasting a few KiloBits of bandwidth.

It's sounding like its a disc problem if it's only 1 game (as others have said). Try cleaning it or using a disc doctor on it.

Guys I need some help I tried cleaning my Xbox with one of thouse CD cleaners, cleaned the DOA 2 Disc itself and even deleted my Profile in the xbox memory section, but it still says my profile is corrupted.

I want to play this game, but its just not working.

What do you think I should do?

If nothing still works just try doa3, just as good it must be something wrong with the way the game saves, not sure what to do though

Delete ALL of your game profiles off your HD and try again. I've heard before that if one of your game saves (even for other games) is corrupt, your Xbox will have problems. At least start off by only deleting the game saves you don't care about at all. Keep deleting more and more until it is no longer an issue.

I had the same problem. Same game. It was when I originally purchased it though and didn't have much time spent on the game. I just deleted my profile and created a new one and never had the problem again. I think it may have been something to do with xbox live and the required update to play on live, because that's when the problem occured for me originally. I did eventually go back and play on xbox live again.

Also had a similar problem with DOA3, that sucked b/c I had to delete my profile and lost everything. Not sure why that one would have occured though since it's not online.
