Yeah, I'm hoping the 40 GB one drops to $299, or atleast make the 80 GB $499. I mean, come on, the 360 is only $199 and last time I checked, it was selling like crazy since they did that.
Well, I might just buy it now, I have been putting aside and saving and I'm pretty sure I have more than needed. lol, I have a 360 already but I sort of wish I had waited, oh well, PS3 is better! :P
Part of it is my bias for Sony but IMO, the PS3 is better when it comes to the Playstation Network and Store, their consoles meet my demands. I don't every remember hearing much about malfunctions for the PS3. The PS3 in my eyes ia a more "real" nex-gen console if you will.
well when i saw the price i said it better not have malfunctions, cause i had so many problems with both versions with the playstation 1 and then the playstation 2 (controllers breaking, games freezing, games scratching, ect), then i never had any of those problems with my xbox, and i did get the ring of death on my 360 and was ready to take an ax to it, but they replaced it for free and gave me 1000 MS points and i haven't had 1 problem with it since it got returned

If anything, I caused the problems, I broke my controllers, I'm sort of the reason why my PS2 sometimes doesn't play games because I kept it on too much but I've learned from my mistakes. The PS3 doesn't really have malfunctions as I've heard. Just don't abuse it.

yeah half the time thats the same for me cause i deff need anger management and i used to smash the controllers off the walls or windows, and I treat my 360 the same way and haven't had any of those problems and the only thing i'll have to fix is the wall or window lol
lol, I don't do that as often but I remember one time I was playing Madden 2006 and I threw 6 intercerptions...all in the same quarter. Boy was I not please, I threw my controller on the ground, picked it back up and hiked the ball after I picked a play, I was then sacked because one of the buttons didn't work. THat made me even more angry:lol:
I haven't done that in a while though I am very competitive. Last thing I broke was my second controller and that was last year, it broke by itself but it was a cheap one since I didn't feel like getting two good controllers.

I think I was playing as either Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, I always play as those two so it was one of them. Yeah, I remember that cheap one I bought, the analog stick became lose as well and for some weird reason the x button was being pressed even though it was being pushed or held down.

If you're anything like me, 40 Gigs is far more than enough.
Well, yeah, SS, I think it will be enough for me too but I like to have alot of room left just incase. We'll see though, I'm satisfied with either one.(40 GB or 80 GB)
As for NTG, yeah, they don't see those anymore. What sucks though is those were the ones that could play PS2 games, the ones on the market at the moment can't do that.
A bunch of music, definately! I may also put pictures on it and vids, maybe. More than what I said though as i must have the PS3 first to know what I'll definately put on it, for sure.
That's probably what I will do, especially so I can put the music I want in video games. Also, name all the things that are possible to put on the PS3 for me, if you know.
