Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, to the first ever WWEv Presents "The Greatest Wrestler of All Time" competition.

Who is the greatest wrestler of all time is a question that is argued back and forth all the time. Many say Hulk Hogan, some say Stone Cold Steve Austin, and others say The Rock or Ric Flair.....

WELL WHO CARES WHAT THEY THINK!!!

This is a competition for you to voice who you think is the greatest wrestler of all time.

(If anyone is wondering, the order is based off the order they were nominated. Chris Benoit was the 2nd nomination, so he is 1st for the modern bracket. Many of the match ups are very intrigueing and I want to thank the people who nominated them for making the match ups like this. Personally, lots of them make me laugh at how ironic they are)

-

Rules for Competition Voting:

1) You can only vote for one wrestler
2) You can not edit your pick later
3) First to 12 wins, must win by 2

(meaning it could go up to 12-11, 14-13, 22-21, until one wrestler has an advantage of two votes, the voting will continue)

-

Modern Bracket - Semi Finals #2:

M5 - Steve Austin

vs.

M7 - Bret Hart

(Let The Voting Begin)

Both men are great assets to the business in there own right. However, Austin WAS wrestling in my book for the most part of his career. My thought: when Hart left there was no real big change, while Austin's departure signalled the downfall of WWE that they have not been able to get out of to this day. This, among other things, is the reason that I have to give my vote toThe Rattlesnake "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

I vote for Bret Hart and I cast that vote pretty easily.  He may not have been the bigger draw, but I think even Steve Austin would tell you he's the better wrestler.  Bret made it okay for smaller guys to be WWF Champion.

And lets not forget who played a major, major role in establishing Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I seem to recall that Bret won the WWF Title about 5 years before Austin was in the mix.

He and Austin are about the same size, hmm...

smaller in terms of physique. gone were the Hulk Hogans and the Jim Hellwigs, and in were the Bret Harts and the HBKs.

Yeah I know, but who's to say that anybody else could have been the one to make it okay for smaller guys to be WWF Champion? Perhaps Bret was at the right place at the right time?

Bret Hart just made the WWF at its prime. Along with guys like Curt Hennig and Shawn Michaels he was making the actual wrestling side for me exciting to watch. I never felt that way about Austin...I always found him to be an entertainer more than a wrestler. So yeah i vote for Bret Hart

Because no one else did.  Savage and Flair both got reigns with the WWF Title, but neither managed to dispel the the notion that WWF was the land of the giants.  Bret Hart did.

I truly want to vote against Austin, but I just loved the finish to Ausin-Hart at WM13, and the way Austin performed there...ugh...maybe it's just me...Anyhow, Stone Cold.

Austin was the better personality, Hart the better technical wrestler, but Hart only fought one match well, austin was succesful as both a technical wrestler and a brawler, and had the higher peak...

I vote for Stone Cold. Although Bret was far ahead of him in the ring, (Austin isnt bad in the ring by any means either), Austin is miles ahead Bret in the other aspects.

I had little more "fun" with Bret "The Hitman" Hart in long-term sense.

In short term sense, I had lot more "fun" with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Tough vote, however, I have to go with Steve Austin.

Austin said it in his own words at the 06' Hall of Fame induction. Bret Hart is the best to ever do it.

Plus, for a year in middle school I grew my hair long just because of the Hitman.

I vote Bret Hart.

Bret Hart was one of the reasons Austin was able to get to where he did. I felt that Hart could put on a great match with anyone and was a good talker. I guess I'm just a Hart mark, but he gets my vote.

A epic win. Bret got screwed, but the commissioner Dave ruled out the decision and let the match continue. Yet under clean, last minute circumstances, Austin still won.

Austin Advances.
