Man what happen to the gloryest writers that flooded the wwe in (85-93)(96-2002 era)

I mean as a fan im tired of people bashing what I used to luv so much as a kid

You guys remember where u where when u first heard austin famous 3:16 speech!

You guys remember the first Time you'd scream "rocky suck's"and smell what the rock wuz cooking!

you remember the realD-genaration X and how they cuz mayhem in da wwe!

Where were u the first time we witness the "worm"

do you remember the day we witness the olympic champion?

Or the classic undertaker vs. undertaker match

Do u remember the day hogan beat the unbeatable andre the giant

If u guys remember this and are true fanactics

I want You to urge other to protest to the wwe to bring back the glory that we miss so much

All of these wrestlers get older, and retire, or go on to have a seriously bad acting career.

Vouch.

Although, the WWE is having trouble with booking stars the right way nowadays. But I dont see those days coming back anytime soon.

but i think this thread suffers from the same logic as the wwe, they want to relive the past, they want to milk the stars of the 80s and 90s for every cent they're worth instead of pushing new, younger talent who are equally as capable to draw crowds. for the past ten years we've seen the same guys at the top of the roster; triple h, kane, undertaker, kurt angle, shawn michaels, mick foley and stone cold. it seems these days the only way to be a main eventer is if a previous main eventer gets injurered or fired.

I agree with you on some parts; mainly I wish there was more ACTUAL wrestling. with skilled wrestlers.

But sometimes I ask myself..is it wrestlings product that changed that much over the years..
Or is it our wants in needs of wrestling entertainment? Are we expecting a little to much?

Jeff, don't feel bad. if you can relive it on WrestleCrap, then you don't need to be a real wrestling fan!

Ok for those of you who misunderstood what i might by this article I wuz mostly talking about da writers

anyone coulda been a superstar just look at fallouts Matt morgan,Nathan jones...Etc

Im talking about the people behind da sence dat bought the superstars to life and made people belive in thier roles

Lets take HHH he came in the sport with sum french gimmick, before da hook him up with shawn micheals and made a dibocle of their peers in da ring in terms of chrisma and mic skillz

Look at Ron siimmons back in the day he made u belive he wuz a real tuff guy he spoke wiht intensity and dignity that made even the soap stars look bad

another issue Imeant to get on wuz the quailty of the matches

Have any of you seen the DX vs the nation street fight match 1998(before summer slam when HHH vs the rock I.C. ladder match)That wuz wanna the greatest hardcore mathces I ever seen u really saw them taking a beating..im not saying their better than today wrestlers..im saying they put in more effort

Ok f

Yeah, and that basically sums it up. Attitude era is insanely overrated. Almost more overrated than Halo. Almost.

ECW's top guys were taken from them by both WCW & WWF/E -- and they weren't ever in a great financial position.

WCW ran itself into the ground.

if you watch an episode of Raw, if a segment doesn't involve The Rock, Foley, Taker, DX, Austin, or even Vince then it sucked (which was honestly4/5 of the show)

Mu5uk0

true

and whenever they push new talent, its always new talent that actually have very little talent (great khali for example) and then wonder why the new talent are drawing heat/cheers and then stick to the people who do, and then the cycle begins again

and btw

kane hasnt been in the main event for ages. he may have had one or two title shots (i mean that literally, i can only think of two instances in a while where he's had a whc/wwe championship shot)but really, when was the last time you thought 'hey, i really think kane has a shot at winning this title).

its threads like these that make me want to play GM mode on the new smackdown game
