Is anyone else getting Watch Dogs on Wii U??

What would it take for you to consider getting it on Wii U instead of Xbox One or Ps4? They've stated in the past that they had the Wii U version up and running before even starting on the PS360 versions of the game, so it's safe to assume the game is based on (assumably) a downscaled version for the new consoles.

As long as it doesn't look awful in comparison, I could see myself getting it on Wii U; that is kind of the point of complaining about no third-party support, isn't it?

getting it for ps4. if i wasnt they would have to d oa tremendous job porting it like with need for speed. other wise i would like the replay value of achievments or trophies

Since I won't be getting a PS4 until maybe a year after launch, I'll get it for Wii U.

If I get the game at all, I'll get it on Wii U. I'm waiting to see some footage, though.

I've seen both versions of the game running

The graphics are taking a big hit on the Wii U, especially when there's any kind of environmental change like rain or fog.

Unless the game turns out to be some sort of huge flop, yes, I will get it.

I'm not sure if I want this on wii u or not. 
I'm not a huge fan of the gamepad but if they do something interesting with it or if they don't and allow pro controller support I will at least consider the wii u version. Otherwise I will get it on PC most likely. The graphics for this game look great but I feel like they haven't shown what the ps3/360 or wii u version look like yet. (unless the ps4/pc/x1 look even better than what they are showing which I doubt)

Also does this game have multiplayer? I wonder what that would be like on wii u as I haven't played any multiplayer games on my wii u yet. 

I won't be getting a PS4 until they fix the bugs that will likely plague it, so that leaves me with PS3 vs Wii U version, so the Wii U version it is

honestly this game looks whatever to me.....but its the kind of game i like developers to bring to wiiU and who knows it it might surprise me.

I'm kinda torn between PC and WiiU. The PC version is cheaper (Uplay shop puts it at £15 less then WiiU, PS3 and 360 which is quite a bit less) and I'd prefer mouse/keyboard to play it with although the gamepad does appeal depending on its use. However my PC is pretty old and although im planning on replacing it (its wasn't entirely up2date when i got it back in 2006). A new PC would be VERY pricey (far more then that £15 mentioned earlier) so the Wii U one is looking better as of right now.

Either way its not going 2 be a day 1 purchase so i'll wait for reviews/player feedback before going ahead with it.

I've got Watch Dogs and AC4 preordered for Wii U. Don't let me down Ubisoft!

At least i'm getting them for 40 bucks each at launch. :P

The game looks great, but this won't be a day 1 buy for me, i'm actually playing Arkham City, New Super Mario U and Assassin's Creed 3... then Rayman Legends in September. October get's crazy with Batman: Arkham Origins, Wind Waker HD, Assassin's Creed 4....

Watch Dogs will have to wait, it's also similar in gameplay to Batman and Assassin's Creed, so i change of pace would be welcomed.

Will get it for Wii U, either at launch or before the holidays. I'll make someone buy it for me as a Xmas gift ;)

PS4 and X1 : I'll definitely wait before I buy any of these consoles (wait for a price drop, check out their reviews, etc).

I'm not sold on the game at all yet.  But, if I were interested, I'd pick the WiiU version if it offered something unique with the Gampad.  If not, I'd go with the PS4 version.

Depends on graphics comparison for Watchdogs, and what the tablet controller can really do with it.

Also on what the multiplayer for the game will be like, as well as how optimized it is on PC.

I have considered it for WiiU, but I think I am leaning more towards either PC, or PS4 with it. 

That being said I already am planning on getting a few multiplats for the WiiU. Like Deus Ex (haven't played it, but I want to see what it can do with the tablet controller) Same for the new Splinter Cell game (unless it really looks horrible in comparison)

Cause I do want to help out for the third party support for the WiiU.

And I'm not paying more for less; I'm choosing not to spend 400 extra dollars for better graphics and a more populated city, and I'll enjoy the game just fine. I appreciate your concern, though. Thank you.

1. For controller bonuses since having a touch screen to at least house a map or hot swap items will make things more intuitive IMO

2. For off tv play potentially

Even though I'm getting a PS4 at launch, I'm getting this for Wii-U since I promised Ubisoft I would if the game came out on Wii-U.

I haven't seen anything to say that the Wii-U version will be weaker.

Can someone explain watchdogs to me? Is it another typical FPS? What's so special about this game? I know nothing about it...roboccs
