I noticed some people asking whether EA is or isn't offering refunds on Sim City.

According to Game Informer they're only offering refunds on physical copies

    Thoughts?

Its funny... With all the QQ about how terrible the game is and how everyone wants a refund, you would think the game was destined for failure, but the game has three times as many servers as it did launch night right now and is STILL over capacity. Meaning all this QQ is just meaningless banter and a vast majority of people are still playing the game.

    ---

Despite being in a state of unofficial war with the United States in 1799 and having just risen to power himself in France, Napoleon, with news of the passing of George Washington, ordered ten days of mourning across all of his armies.

And the world is ending...I get some things are natural to accept in such internet dramas, but this? let's keep it real, no matter how gullible a person is, there's no way they'd believe this unless they were absolutely paranoid and probably suffering from multiple health issues.

if the servers are all full then how are the vast majority of players playing it? Surely the logic would be if the servers were low or medium capacity then it means everyone is playing. The servers being full means that god only knows how many people are not able to play.

Eh, kind of to be expected, though I personally have no sympathy for those wanting a refund at this point if they've bought a Digital copy.

Don't ever let me hear you complaining about an issue with any Steam game etc on this forum then.

I feel terrible for the poor interns who have had to run EA's social media accounts during the past week.

If people scream loud enough, Steam more than not begrudgingly offers refunds (WarZ). EA is a whole different story.
As for game issues, That's why I do research.
