Have noticed other controllers feeling less comfortable after playing Wii U?

When I got my Wii U, I played it exclusively for the first couple of months.  After I finished all the games I had for it, I started playing my other consoles again. Surprisingly, they felt a little less comfortable.  My wrists were closer together, and my hands to close more around the contours.  It's weird to say, but I think that big tablet controller is actually more ergonomical, well at least for me.

Do not invite me to your union. Doing so will get you ignored.

I guess I haven't noticed because I've been rotating controllers a lot. Even on Wii U.

Nah, I still think it's between GCN and X360 for the most comfortable controller. I like the WiiU gamepad, but at times it feels like it's in the way.

i find it to be much more comfortable than the ps3 controller or the wii remote with the nunchuck, the xbox 360 and wii u controller are my favourite

kinda like how when you play with the wiimote and nunchuk, you can just rest your arms on an armchair or something? yeah, it's good.

It's not uncomfortable, but I find it kind of bulky in a bad way. With the Wiimote and nunchuck combo it was nice because I could put my hands wherever I wanted. With the WiiU they're still fixed, albeit further apart.

In a way it reminds me of this thing, just less extreme:

Well being primarily a PC gamers most controllers feel odd ( I wouldn't say uncomfortable though) That being said I definitely think the Wii U tablet is more comfortable than most controllers. It might be because I'm used to having my hands farther apart.

I find the gamepad extremely comfortable. Suprisingly though, I find the Wii U Pro controller to be even more comfortable than the gamepad AND the 360 controller which it is no doubt modeled after.

No since I play Playstations most Dualshocks 1,2,3 are best for me. I have had a hard time adjusting to the Wii U tablet controller. It is not uncomfortable or heavy. The Gamepad is long. So it is hard for me a longterm gamer to get used to. I lay the Gamepad tablet flat. Where possible. The Gamepad is long which is quite an adjustment to make for me.

I like the Wii U Pro controller very much.

Was that for when PSO came to the GameCube?

    No not at all

It's a step up from the Classic Controller but a step below everything else we've seen in the last 2 generations

I haven't noticed that... but then again, I never COMPLETELY switched to the Wii U. The reason being is I'm also trying to catch up on some Ps2 games I'd never gotten the chance to play such as Kingdom Hearts. For that reason, I'm basically switching between the gamepad and the Dualshock 2 daily. Kinda funny really, one's a giant and ones tiny and yet they both feel just as comfortable.

Just OT, I actually prefer Dualshock 2 over Dualshock 3.

bevanswa1why are you spamming that same post everywhere?

I'm okay with both. I think it's equally as comfortable as the regular controllers.

I have to say i kinda dis like the gamepad , i feel its to big and i am not such a big fan of the screen on it but i do luv gaming and the wii u so i am not a hater , just my opinion , i bought the pro controller and i realy like it but i find the joysticks kinda inaccurate compared to 360 and ps3 , they feel loose to me , i played ninja gaiden with the pro and luved it besides this controller making my hands super sweaty compared to others. i then tried cod and i am not a fan of this shooter like i am others but had to give a shooter a try and compare the pro to my 360 and ps3 controller , i like the shape and feel of the pro but same the joysticks feel a bit short and not so accurate . do these joysticks have any sensitivity ?

It's an improvement over wiimote but nothing will ever top classic controllers like the DS2.

It's a comfortable controller, the only problem I have with it is that it's kind of hard to reach for the L and R buttons when you're using the analog sticks.
