I agree. Of course we're actually going to have to SEE the 4 and the 720, but this next gen is setting up very nicely for Sony. I think they've learned their lessons well.

Sony has momentum, but MS could just as easily run with it if they get their head back in the game. I get the dreadful feeling MS is going full bore into trying to make the 720 the next Wii. Either way, we already know the Wii U will not be a repeat of the Wii, the king has fallen, the crown is up for grabs.

All the DLC for Fire Emblem was made after the game was completed. It isn't locked out just so they could have DLC.

Intelligent Systems was thinking of doing that but Iwata said we can't do that the game has to be complete before we start on the DLC.

All the dlc content was out far before US release. It isn't like there was much to translate for the US game since it has a couple lines and virtually zero voiced dialogue per map. I wouldn't have much problem with the dlc if they at least put some effort into the models for the old characters who are basically just other characters with hair and armor color similar to the games they appeared in.

No surprise, bombed in the UK the other week too. I've said it before that the casuals aren't going to get burned again buying a console that's just gonna sit there collecting dust after a few weeks of use. Hardcores aren't going to jump on board with a load of old ports making up most of the library and the other next gen (and hopefully more powerful) consoles round the corner.

They are a Japanese company and Handhelds are huge in Japan so that is probably why they are focusing more on 3DS.

But they are still focusing on Wii U they left a gap for 3rd Parties to fill but they either delayed or cancelled their Wii U projects.

Everytime a Nintendo console has a drought it is always Nintendo leaving room for 3rd Parties to release their games without competition and the 3rd parties always fail to support it.

A little late to the party, but yeah, the Wii U is tanking. By the numbers, Nintendo hasn't even sold out of the initial launch units yet which was 3.5 million shipped to retail or so. Either way, it sure seems like people are content on just getting the 360 which already has a huge gaming library, compared to the buying a new system that may or may not make it when the new PS and XBOX come out later this year or early next year.
