System Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about systems, platforms, handhelds and the games. Not many people survive System Wars. The mightiest system warriors back up their arguments with facts.
Rules are simple:
- Read the Terms of Use and System Wars Survival Guide.
- Must be Level 10 or higher to create topics.
- Keep your discussions around what belongs here: platforms, games, developers, publishers, and stats.
- Don't quote more than one image in your post.
- Do NOT post or bump extremely abusive discussions (adult material/illegal activities/illegal advertising/etc).

There was a lot of outrage when iPad4 launched so shortly after the ipad3. Sounds cliche, but Jobs was the essense of apple and this is already fading away.

Visit The Locker Room for Sports and Sports GamingApple of 5 years ago would absolutely have squashed these 3 and claimed the market. But that "Apple" doesn't live here anymore. Most every complaint lobbed at Microsoft's gaming division can be directed at Apple too.
Costing on momentum...Check.
Lacking strategic vision...Check.
Wasting opportunities...Check.
If someone can explain to me exactly where Apple is heading, I'd appreaciate it because as an analyst who's trained in strategic planning...I surely can't tell. Yes...Apple is printing money today in the same way Microsoft printed it a decade ago.
But let's not pretend that Apple is the same innovator that they have always been. They're not.
No need to go any farther. Apple has already paid out 8 billion dollars to 3rd party developers. I'm not going to take your personal observations very seriously when I have some more significant data to rely on.
You got a link to back that up? They spent 8 billion dollars on games and haven nothing to show for it in regards to quality i have even less confidence in them then i did before.
Why would I make that up? Seems like a stupid thing to do. After a quick search of the internet... I don't know what you're referring to regarding quality. Anyone who says the App Store is full of freemium garbage or quick flash games is only revealing how much they don't know. Yup.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

Apple couldn't and wouldn't penetrate the console market, they would only succeed in failing. They're better in their current position with handhelds and handsets.

Which is why the dashboard and their direction is what it is at the moment. Whelp.

- Yelp
- Zillow
