John Alleman, the unofficial spokesperson of The Heart Attack Grill, has died...due to suffering a heart attack...while eating at the restaurant. As ironic as this story is, it becomes even more so when one considers that he is the second spokesperson of the restaurant to die in this manner in the past two years. You can watch a full, comprehensive report here.

Now that's just asking for trouble.

They want to gain publicity from the deaths of their customers.

The Quadruple Bypass Burger with 9,982 calories (41.76 MJ) has been identified as one of the "world's worst junk foods".[17] It consists of four half-pound beef patties, eight slices of American cheese, a whole tomato and half an onion served in a bun coated with lard.

wtf. :?

It's like euthanasia for the undeserving fatties. Make it enticing but deadly, perfect.. Like a fly to a buzzing blue light.

I've eaten there before. Had a burger with cheese, double bacon, lettuce, tomato, a fried egg, chili, jalapenos, sauted onions and mushrooms, pickles, mayo, and some other stuff I can't remember...it was f'ing glorious! Seriously delicious!

I wouldn't eat there on a normal basis though, would end up a fat slob, or worse, dead lol!

I like it though, they aren't hiding anything and telling people pretty much what can happen if you go there.

It's good for their business!

I bet the food is good.  Sad that people died, but its their choice to eat there and be so unhealthy.  I have nothing at all against the business and they should not be demonized.  If people want to voluntarily go there and eat extremely unhealthy food then they should be able to do that, and the business should be able to serve it.

" The establishment is a hospital theme restaurant: waitresses ("nurses") take orders ("prescriptions") from the customers ("patients"). A tag is wrapped on the patient's wrist showing which foods they order and a "doctor" examines the "patients" with a stethoscope. The menu includes "Single", "Double", "Triple", and "Quadruple Bypass" hamburgers,[1] ranging from 8 to 32 ounces (230 to 910 g) of beef (up to about 8,000 calories), all-you-can-eat "Flatliner Fries" (cooked in pure lard), beer and tequila, and soft drinks such as Jolt and Mexican-bottled Coca-Cola made with real suga" Rofl, sounds awesome. Will try to remember if I ever visit Las Vegas.

At least they tell you everything they sell is horrible for you. You can go to a handful of other restaurants and get a salad that's 800 calories or more. I believe some restaurant served a 1k calorie oreo shake. It's NOT good for you, but you could buy virtually the same burgers elsewhere and they wouldn't tell you they're a fat-and-calorie bomb. Regardless, you don't eat like that all the time, or shouldn't. This guy made a stupid choice and the owner even told him not to eat there so much. The only thing about this restaurant I don't agree with is the fatties eat free thing, that's sad and promotes nothing good.

Agreed. The only ethical problem I have with this place is the fat people eating for free. Check out this video of the place, the burgers look absolutely revolting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbKRSYAuSNg

People have the choice to eat there; they can kill themselves if they want. But, why is this place encouraging obese people to gain more weight and risk their health even more, by telling them they can eat free?

It's probably a secret plan designed to rid the US of fat people by having them die of heart attacks while binge eating.

The concept of that restaraunt and thinking about the majority of people that probably eat there both sickens me and depresses me.

If only Africa could have a place like this. Hunger would no longer be an issue, since a burger could probably feed a whole tribe.
