System Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about systems, platforms, handhelds and the games. Not many people survive System Wars. The mightiest system warriors back up their arguments with facts.

    Well interpret the title as you will, we're on the eve of jumping into a new gen of gaming. Whether it be something to do with services or the games themselves let's hear them out

    • All games to have demos - Kind of a no brainer, there are an astounding number of games out there that have no demos at all. Boggles my mind looking up games at times and the only thing I have to go on is Youtube and hearsay. Damnit devs, I wanna try it myself!
    • DD to expand significantly on consoles. I would love to build a complete DD library on the new Xbox or PS4. Tired of physical media and whatnot. Of course people should always have the option to choose for you collectors/traders.
    • More VA options in games. Now I'm not advocating devs go out of their way to include languages that they wouldn't normally translate for but if by chance they are doing something outside of English I want to have the choice to hear it! Metro 2033 in Russian is pretty cool sounding and I'd love to be able to choose to have Japanese VA in JRPGs.

    One thing I would like to change is the **** region locking and staggered release dates. Industry standard should be that a game be released everywhere on the same date for every platform and in every country where there is demand for said game.

    All pc games support the 350 controller and the multiplats on pc play the same exact way it is on the consoles. Like on Black Ops 2 I dont like how the controller doesnt have aim assist, it should have it like the consoles do.

    I'd love to see more developers/publishers adopt Nintendo-quality testing and bug-fixing. Still, sad part is that I don't see any of this happening.

    Definitely agree with that, seeing how some games can have 5 different pre-order bonuses between stores. The VA option mentioned in the OP makes sense. I think I saw someone advocate for blocking used games, and that's a big ew from me.

    This generation of consoles were supposed to be High definition, but we all know how that turned out. I'd love for 1080p to be the standard on the next consoles, and for 60FPS to be the target, not 30FPS.

    pre order bonus needs be gone SPECIALLY exclusive store crap. IF they going do this i think a code should be placed in the box  as long as they plan to sell it for $60 or full price. OR maybe make it where if you log online by  a time peroid  say 30 days?

    Yeah all those. Vanquish was awesome, you could have the voices in Japanese and the text in any subtitle. I chose English.
