Or, rather, can you limit yourself to only one game until you've completed it? Lately I seem to have been switching back and forth between several games, but I'm typically the type to play through one until I finish it. Just wondering how many out there are (or aren't) in the same boat.

2 or 3 I would guess although sometimes I'm just playing through one like I am now with Dead Space 3. Having a few on the go introduces some variety and is also sometimes good for contrast.

I can really only focus on one at a time. Unless they are sports games or competitive FPS games

I tend to stick to one game and see it through. It's more immersive that way. If I lose interest, and I move to another game.. then I usually never return to the one I played before it. Hence why I have so many games that I haven't finished.

Normally I start games and then finish them (the ones I intend on finishing) later on.  I have started The Witcher 2, Bioshock, Dead Space 2, LA Noire, and Max Payne 3.  I am always playing Dark Souls as well.  (That's 6 games!)

TIL I need to finish some games.

I try to play through one game at a time since I don't have that much time to play, so I want to remember whats going on the next time I get some gaming in. Sometimes i'll play 2, or have one I'll play and take a break to play another.. usually will be very different games incase I feel like playing one genre over another.

I play one at a time normally. Of I play more than one, it is one that requires thought and one that doesn't like Journey for example.

I can get into almost any number of multiplayer focused games at once and currently do so (switching between Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Payday: The Heist, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Battlefield 3 and the Crysis 2 beta), but I like to keep it down to maybe 3 or so single player games, and try to stick to the same genre or I can start to lose track or get confused.

Right now I'm going through Fallout: New Vegas, the Borderlands games (finished 1, just need to complete the DLC), and Crysis Warhead. When I'm done with one or two of them, I'll move onto The Witcher 2 and The Darkness II.

Single player games? Usually one or two. Not counting stuff like Super Meat Boy with no real story.

I play quite a few multiplayer games like BF3, Chivalry, Starcraft II and DayZ. As for singleplayer games, depends. If they're sandbox games like Skyrim and Far Cry 3, I usually play them quite a lot and then I have one main game to focus on, which is Spec Ops right now.

usually a couple of multiplayer games. Only 1 single player game most often. Unless I get bored of it. If its not fun then I dont see the point in forcing myself to finish it. Looking at you hitman absolution.

I used to do 3+ at a time. Not anymore. Going at it one at a time makes me appreciate each game more.

I used to have dozens of games installed, now I tend to finish what I start, but not for the sake of finishing it. If it's not fun, I just admit that I threw away as many dollars as it cost me, and move on to other games I bought or want to buy next.

2-4 I dunno. I usually tend to focus on one on my most powerful PC but I also play other games on my less powerful PC, PS3 and 3DS.
