Whenever I first boot up my computer, the following message pops up in notepad:

    [0108/193706:WARNING:backend_impl.cc(1609)] Messed up entry found.
    [0108/193706:WARNING:backend_impl.cc(1895)] Destroying invalid entry.

I've tried googling it, but got no results. Does anyone have an idea of what this means?

I currently have Windows 8 Pro but this was happening when I was using 7 as well.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Intel Core i5 3550 OC'd @ 3.9 Ghz.

    16 GB DDR3 RAM

MSI Radeon HD 7950 Boost Edition 3GB

1 TB Western Digital Caviar Green

ASUS 24x DVD RW +/- drive

    MSI Z77A - G45 motherboard

    Corsair TX650 650-watt power supply

    Windows 8 Pro 64-bit

    Thermaltake Chaser MK-I

I appreciate the response, but how do you know that Steam is the culprit?

It'd be great if I knew what the message means in addition to how to fix it. Like, is it anything I need to worry about?

its nothing to worry about. its just a debug log from fb app.

    do the following.

Start -> run -> msconfig and hit ok.

    under startup tab disable "Debug".
