I never understood the love for 1.6...stick to Source or GO...get ith the times man!

From what I hear 1.6 is still the best/ No point getting with the times if the older version is better.

Then again I've never played a CS game in my life, despite loving FPS games. CS is intimidating

The only reason CS 1.6 is considered the best (from my perspective) from what you hear is because that's all CS 1.6 players play/love. They're probably one of the most stagnant player base I've ever seen, it doesn't matter what version of Counter Strike there is or comes out they will $#!+ on it no matter what and continue playing thier precious 1.6. I played Counter Strike GO and I was surprised by just how much fun it was and how somewhat good I did on the battlefield (I faced off against AI players and did pretty well, human players....meh, better than expected).

Counter Strike Source and GO are both good games regardless of what CS 1.6 fanboys (in fact they're opinion's are almost meaningless given their fanboyism towards the version). Hell, even though he's not at all a Counter Strike player, TB still gave CS:GO a spot in his Top 10 Games of 2012 (#6 to be exact) so that's gotta mean something for the game.

Credible? who gives a s*** I would watch a 1000 Dota 2 matches over a single boring sport.

Comparing digital competitive sports to sports that have existed for 100s of years is a joke.

Rather odd that Forbes dismisses the exclusivity agreement yet brings to light the randomness of Halo 4's multiplayer, and then makes no mention of that same randomness in Blops 2.

Xfire | Raptr | Steam | Next Generation SW Begins | SWG

"Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?"

Forbes also said that Microsoft was going to sell the Xbox brand to Sony or Barnes and Noble.

    That's not what MLG said.

All MLG said was that Microsoft signed an exclusivity agreement with a different event.

All the other stuff was just that Forbes author's opinion on the game.

The fact Halo was on MLG was once an argument as why Halo was superior to some FPS (yes, some lems used this argument as why Halo was "better" than Killzone), now that isnt part of MLG is "lolMLG"

I'm sure some people have said it, but it's terrible argument. League of Legends is garbage from a competitive standpoint because it's all about the metagame and what is the most OP at any given time.

I basically never play MP games. Interesting that adding more mobility and freedom make the game more casual. I guess I kind of understand it, as it makes it tougher to develop strategies, but still.
