Hmmm. i have not played as many as a lot of other RPG nuts out there.

Tales of Symphonia was probably the one I enjoyed the most. I know it has its cheesy moments and some cliches, but it was highly entertaining, addicting, and I just really got into the characters and such. Baten kaitos Origins also did a pretty good job with story for me. Oh and FFX was pretty interesting, though I never beat the final boss (lol I am at him too).

Persona 3, FF10, and FF9 are my absolute favorites in terms of story, but Chrono Cross is my favorite RPG overall.

Now Playing: Final Fantasy XII, Shadow Hearts, Secret of Mana

My 100 favorite songs of All Time. And because I ran out of blog post space, here's the second part of the list.

Recent Reviews: Mother 3, Final Fantasy VII, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4.

Persona 3, FF10, and FF9 are my absolute favorites in terms of story, but Chrono Cross is my favorite RPG overall.

I agree with those 3 choices and would like to add Persona 4, Tales of the Abyss, and Wild Arms.

SO far I am not as into ToA as I am ToS. I need to play ToA more. I am a few hours in. ToS had more enjoyable characters to me.

Wild Arms 3, Star Ocean 2nd Story, FFVIII, FFX, Grandia 2, SD Snatcher.

Can't think of any other at the moment.

Nobody mentioned Nocturne / Lucifer's Call yet. I have a soft spot for it, because it's the first SMT game I played, but the story is great - it has multiple endings and what path you choose to take has a real effect on how the story plays out throughout the game.

Final Fantasy X gets a lot of hate but I really enjoyed it's story. It just had some really cheesey cutscenes like Tidus and Yuna laughing.

I just started playing it recently. The story is dope. They way they tell it is pretty brilliant.

The music is also really great. It adds a nice touch to the experience.
