Stop fearing people
Before you meet them
And don't keep enemies
Until you must defeat them
My country, love it or leave it
That's **** and I don't believe it
A decaying standard
And it's begging for a changeI think it goes both ways, like Kim, Alex, and so forth.
Though tbh I havent met anyone named Shannon, just think that historically there were a lot of men named Shannon.

I know a guy called Sharon and have done for a few years now so I don't think of it as a girls name. However Shannon is a girls name to me, never heard of a guy called Shannon but I do however know that it's a unisex name like Francis, just very rarely do I hear of a guy sporting it.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

Education is the most interesting and difficult adventure in life. Educating - from the Latin educere - means leading young people to move beyond themselves and introducing them to reality, towards a fullness that leads to growth. This process is fostered by the encounter of two freedoms, that of adults and that of the young. It calls for responsibility on the part of the learners, who must be open to being led to the knowledge of reality, and on the part of educators, who must be ready to give of themselves. For this reason, today more than ever we need authentic witnesses, and not simply people who parcel out rules and facts; we need witnesses capable of seeing farther than others because their life is so much broader. A witness is someone who first lives the life that he proposes to others.

I think the female name, Frances, may be pronounced with a "z" sound (i.e. "Francez") while the male name, Francis, is pronounced with "s"/soft-c sound. I don't know for sure though.

It definitely has the connotation of being a girl's name. I've found that guys with feminine names have it as a family legacy (their father/grandfather had the name) and in the "old country" it was a man's name.
I've known men named Stacy, Kelly, Carol, etc. I also knew a girl named Michael.

I have too. It has to be hard growing up with a feminine name. I wonder what some parents are thinking when they name their sons.

On a related note my father has a feminine name. Merel, like Meryl Streep. It was his grandfather's name. Thank god I didn't inherit it lol.
