Love the game but I think I found a design flaw. I'm in Anor Londo atm and I'm without humanity, I have cleared the level and found everything need to be found I've done all the other areas I needed. How am I without humanity you ask? Well I'm regularly invaded and I lose. I should just kill the boss right? Well I'm stuck on him too. I kill Ornstein but can't finish Smough. I'm all I can now is just around kill knights and lvl up.

You can go back to previous areas by that shiny ring thing. You'll have to run through sens fortress to get back but its a very easy run once you know the area.

Certainly not a design flaw in your situation... What level are you? You should put your summon sign down for someone to summon you, get humanity for clearing the boss with them.

Summon Solaire for the fight then, that one won't fail He's on one of the staircases in the large hall outside Ornstein and Smough.

When I was a kid, I used to wake up in my twin size bed and wonder where my brother was.

I failed with him too. He can't tank Smough long enough while I take on Ornstein to help with Smough in second phase.

Have you got the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring ? It increases drop rate by 200, humanity will drop more frequently. If you missed it here's a guide how to get it.

Do you have the GFWL ports forwarded and have a firewall exception for the DKS executeable?

I would suggest checking your network settings and just try getting summoned a couple of times to get some humanity and learn the S&O fight a bit as opposed to running all the way back to the depths and then back to anor londo. You're one fight away from being able to warp between bonfires.

i was in your shoes couple days back. luckliy, i summoned a very powerful guy with my last humanity who took out giant smough easily. if you opened the shortcut near the blacksmith you can go back from there to undead female merchant. i think she sells humanity for 5000

I get summoned just fine. I check my network settings and nat is open and that unpnp or whatever is available. I think that is sorted.

no, not in londo. she is on the way from firelink to undead parish.

also one thing i never understand is just like you i have problems when summoning people but somehow my invaders just do fine. this is why i never play as a human unless i am on way to boss fight

Yeah, but then I'd have to slog back through senn's and back again. I hated that place.
