http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130656 I bought this card a while back, and want to upgrade it. Nothing over $70, I was thinking about a 6670. How much faster is the 6670 vs 430? Worth the upgrade, I cant spend mucha t all.

there is a bit of an approvement judging from this: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/610?vs=613 (this benchmark uses gt440) Maybe wait around for a open box gpu on newegg or look around on ebay just make sure the product excepts returns or seller has good reviews, if not then i think for $70 that is the best.

buy a second hand card. You can find a geforce 460 gtx that is around 3 to 4 times faster than the 6670 for $70 on local ads. I know people don't like buying used but lets face it, $70 is poor mans money, it is a pittance so there is no need to worry about buying used or not since the risk is so small.

Save another $30 and get a 7770 ($99 after rebate)

6670 is not worth $70 when you can get a $7770 for $99.

exactly. Really $30 is nothing especially given the performance difference between the 2 cards

hes a poor guy and can't afford $30, so like I suggested go with the 460 gtx, that way he spends only $60 but gets performance thats at least 40% faster than the 7770. I used to be in the poor mans shoes a while ago, couldn't afford a single thing, hell my budget for my computer originally was $500, paid on credit which I couldn't afford.

I agree with this. I still have my low profile Asus 6670 in my media pc, and while it plays some games well, others would suffer. For instance, I could play Velvet Assassin maxed out, with no issues, but try to play The Witcher 2 on anything near medium and watch as the game has a seizure. Just spend a little extra .

Oh, just seen your eBay link. I seriously doubt it will stay that cheap, but who knows.
