Blame Capcom for that. 3DS is fully capable of online too, most of the games with online on 3DS have been Capcom titles too.

This is a game that greatly benefits from online.[/QUOTE] It's actual name isn't 'Ultimate,' it's real name is 3G (G denoting Expanded); the Ultimate moniker is west exclusive and comes from the fact that Wii U games need to have some sort of stupid U tag (Undercover, Ultimate, Unlimited, and so on).

The 3DS version not having online is a major setback in my opinion. Oh well, most Japanese gamers ad-hocd on the PSP's.
Also this could be that game that makes me want WiiU again.
