I thought this would be fun, and interesting to see what everyone's favourite bands/songs are (also I'm incredibly bored and suck at games so there's no point trying to play them), so just name a favourite band of yours and list your favourite 3 songs from them. You can include why if you want. I'll start

Bands and artists are in alphabetical order, I just went through my iPod and chose my favorite three songs from each. I also put them all in a spoiler tag because the list is pretty big.

Modest Mouse songs: Dance Hall, The World At Large, A Different City

Altar of Plagues songs: Neptune is Dead, Feather and Bone, Earth: As a Womb

La Dispute songs: The Most Beautiful Bitter Fruit, You and I In Unison, Andria

I've always liked the more upbeat, fast and strange songs from Modest Mouse, I know adding The World At Large contradicts that, but there's just something about that song that I love.

With my AoP choices, I chose them all because they're repetitive as hell, which I love, and Feather and Bone has some insanely catchy drumming for the first few minutes.

I chose my La Dispute songs based mostly off the lyrics, because that's the thing that stands out the most about the band in particular to me.

I'm going have to do a progressive list I just don't have the time/patience this afternoon. It's a very hard call to do a top 3 of artists that you love.

Wu Tang Clan: Protect ya Neck, Visionz, C.R.E.A.M

Biggie: Unbelievable, Warning, Who Shot Ya?

U2: With or Without you, New Years Day, Unchained melody.

The Police: Walking on the Moon, Roxanne, Message in a Bottle

Oasis: Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall, Live Forever

The Beatles: I am the Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever, Here comes the Sun.

Black Sabbath: Iron Man, Crazy Train, Paranoid

The Avalanches - can I count the entire "Since I Left You" album as one song? There aren't any gaps after all... - Yes James, you can

David McCormack (and the Polaroids) - I'm Going to Execute yr Ex-Boyfriend, A.V.O., Living Under the Flight Plan

The Herd - 2020, Red Queen Theory, 77%

Machine Gun Fellatio - Unsent Letter, Not Afraid of Romance, Isaac or Fuzz

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Into My Arms, 15 Feet of Pure White Snow, Papa Won't Leave You Henry

The Panics - Creaks, Cash, Kid You're A Dreamer

    For me:

Gomez - Revolutionary Kind, Engine, We Haven't Turned Around

Abbe May - Costanza, Karmageddon, Universes

Artists in alphabetical order but songs in no real order:

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath, Children of the Grave, Heaven and Hell (Planet Caravan at a close 4th)

Bongripper - Hail, Satan, Worship (Doom at a close 4th, with Worship probably being the best of those)

Cathedral - Enter the Worms, Fountain of Innocence, Grim Luxuria (all from the one album, it's great)

Death - Leprosy, Flattening of Emotions, Trapped in a Corner

Dr. Dre - Still D.R.E, What's the Difference, Xplosive (Don't really like his first album that much, but there is some good stuff on there, nothing to make it here though)

Electric Wizard - Dopethrone, Return Trip, Funeralopolis

Enslaved - As Fire Swept Clean the Earth, Havenless, Blodhemn

Ghola - Tyrant Behind Transylvanian Walls (duh), Apotheosis, Into the Void

Gorguts - Obscura, From Wisdom to Hate, Inverted

Iron Maiden - Powerslave, Killers, Children of the Damned

Megadeth - Holy Wars, Wake Up Dead, Rust in Peace

Metallica - Master of Puppets, Battery, Ride the Lightning

Nocturnal Breed - Wicked, Vicious and Violent, Fields of Rot, In Sickness and in Hell

Overkill - Electric Rattlesnake, Drop the Hammer Down, Ironbound (Like their new stuff more than the old stuff)

Reverend Bizarre - Burn in Hell, In the Rectory, They Used Dark Forces

Slayer - Angel of Death, Metal Storm, War Ensemble

Could include a few more bands I really really like but they aren't necessarily my favourite bands so I left them out. Also the list is long enough as it is.
