    So, me and my friend were playing halo 4 and my friend is a little newbish and im pretty good (not try'n to brag) and he said it would be fair if i get worse weapons(battle rifle and weaker sniper rifle) and he gets a position advantage (gaint tower) and better weapons(incenaration cannon and powerfull sniper rifle) so essentially its skill versus advantage in weapons and terrain. Is that really a fair fight - please, let me know what you think?

    It doesn't matter what positions/weapons he gets if he doesn't know how to use them. I would say there's always the chance that he gets lucky, but as far as skill goes it would still be one sided.

    no its not fair at all really. The incineration cannon and the binary rifle are both one shots and then some since shots can be bounced of objects which is a pro move though. That said its still not fair even if you are better. Now if they had like a handicap system in place where maybe you had a little less life than that would be better.

    your are in a sense right that skill does trump advantage in some cases but this felt unfair to a point. not being able to even apllie skill to the battle because of being unable to get to the top of a tower while he's got one shote one kill weapons trained on you the whole time. and i said he's not good not he's never played in his life but thanks anyway
