Game looks really fun and well made. Never played a dmc game before. Is this a good entry point to get started?

It's a reboot of the franchise it has nothing to do with the previous installments. At first when a reboot was announced and video footage was shown most fans(including myself) where outraged because of the changes.

But after playing the demo most of us came around and we are looking foward to it's release!!!

I was skeptical when they first revealed it. after some gameplay surfaced, I started coming around, after playing the demo, I was sold. The fanboys are still going to hate it though

It's the Western reboot of the series so you're good to go.

It's the Western version which is aimed for new players like yourself, you should be good to go. Even the default medium difficulty is easy as pie for veteran players.

I played the demo recently and all my reservation about the game went away. The game is really fun combat is satisfying voice acting is great. What really sold me on the game was the word exchange Dante had with a boss on the demo before the boss battle started. I thought it was really funny.

Unfortunately the metacritic user score disagrees with you. Shame that so many people want to hate on someone else's vision. Ninja Theory is a decent dev company and i hope this doesn't hurt their bottom-line. I say to all those whiners, "go out, learn how to code, get a job and maybe someday you'll have the game you think you deserve; until that time STFU!!!!
