I love 2D game and I love to play them a lot. Recently I play Shank , Shank 2 and mark of the ninja. Each of those game was awesome in there own way. I need some more recommendation. By the way I like to play Hack and Slash 2D game so please don't recommend any other kind of game. ( some of freind once was recommend me LIMBO, that game was really cool and awesome but not my cup of tea). So any recommendation and suggestions are welcome.

No, like I stated before, the memory limitations alone on consoles can't hold enough textures to be able to replicate Crysis 1.
thats why they dont need the memory PS3 has a little something something called Blu-Ray. and its 25 times the size of a petty 2gb SD RAM

They Bleed Pixels is a very fluid, awesome 2D hack 'n slash / beat 'em up. Here's gameplay.

As IC3_C0LD_ZERO said: Hotline Miami. It's top-down, but really gruesome . It also doesn't hurt that it is one of the best games I played last year.

if action is what you want you can try out both Trine 1 & 2
Capsized is pretty good too and if you are in the mood for something retro try out Captain Claw

From this point on, all your opinions will be rejected.

Thanks to all for reply. I played Hotline Miami and after playing it for two hour I understand that either I am going to loose the "R"button from my keyboard or I am going to crash my monitor. I don't know its may be a good game but it was insanely difficult for me. I need some 2D game which are easy to play like shank or mark of ninja which or metal slug.

I played both Trine 1 & 2. Its more like puzzle for me rather than action. But thank you any way.

Thank you for your reply. Bastion is not really a 2D game. And I already played mark of the ninja. That's really awesome game. Can you recommend any other game.

Check out Bionic Commando Rearmed if you haven't. It's not hack and slash but it might be to your liking.

edit: Oh, and I just stumbled upon this ...khm... interesting game today. It's 2D hack and slash called "Age Of Barbarian". This reviewer thinks it's good: youtube review.

Waking Mars is a game that will typically fly under the radar; I mean: how good can an IOS port to PC really be? Well... in this case, really good! You should try it out. (EDIT: Sorry, not hack and slash... my bad)

Uhm... Maybe Trine and/or Trine II?

Thanks to all, I hit the goldmine today. One of my friend give me winkawks emulator with 141 roms and most of the game are hack and slash, shoot them up or beat them up kind of game. So I think I should get busy now and one more thing to add, they all support my controller.
