Unfound game!
- Dec 31, 2012 6:12 pm GMTLately I've been lost in the video game world, to a point where not much has excited me lately. I know Elder Scroll MMO is coming next year. Skyrim was a great game but I couldn't stay attached to it that long. I was thinking over the past holiday trying to come up with a game that I would kill to play, and I though about the ultimate Frontier game. I want it to be a MMORPG of where you start off either a man or women, your choice, and you have entered the pioneer life style. Throughout some story mode that's created, you obviously will have level progression and skills. You start with your that shelter could range from a tent in the wood/dessert or at a local Inn, if you can travel that far, how ever you want to start your class. Classes would be indians, Mexican, whatever it was like back in the American day, that's where a historian would come in. Once you start, the journey is up to you, you can follow quests, such as a main one created, or side quests to help the local AI. Another way is possibly rank up skills that interest you. Skills could be hunting. fishing, lumbering, weaving, construction, cooking, reading (to learn better for surviving the wild), endurance, fighting, gun skill, MINING, crafting, gardening. The skills could be endless and you're allowed to master what ever it is you desire. Like every RPG, MMO, there has to be a currency in the game so why not make it the standard past time US currency. This game can take you to become a rich city slicker, or a man with wife and kids on some land with a farm, or up in the hills away from society... And if someone trespasses, the homeowner can use simple defense, such as a gun or his lovely killer dog.. Basically a first person, upgraded version of RuneScape.... with the environment of Red Dead Redemption.. Surviving a pioneer life.. Leave comments on similar games that might be out there, or steal the basic ideas of this game and create it because I don't have the tools to do so...

It's nice, you did put some effort in it, but I'm afraid you didn't think this very through. Not at all to crash your idea but you practically depicted a life simulation, it needs ideas for content.. something that should make you want to play. "The journey is up to you" idea does not work, ppl refer to mmorpgs/games because they have "directions" to be followed, ergo a little easier than real life. Without directions there would be no grip. It also need a solid story background to work.
