battlefield bad company 2, havent played the 1st, would I be lost?

    I haven't played the first bad company, would it still be ok to play bc2? even if I don't know the story? just got it on sale -.-

    Yeah you would. They literally go in a new direction with the story anyway. So it would be fine.

    The story makes a complete 360 degree turn around and in no way relates to the first game except for the characters so no, you would not be lost one bit

    I miss the humor of the first one. That's what disappointed me with 2's campaign, but I got it mostly for the multiplayer. By now, people may have migrated to BF3 (though last time I checked, BC2 still has a decent community)
