Sounds legit to me, great news for everyone!

I'm pretty glad about this as some of their biggest games are in development and would definitely be a good investment.

    My rig: Intel i5 2500k | 8GB 2000Mhz RAM | 2x 120GB SSD in RAID 0 | AMD HD 6970 2GB | Asus P8Z68-V LX

Brian Farrell? The whole uDraw thing. Yeah... Well, at least their suits are noble enough to take 50% salary cuts for 2012. You don't see many exec's doing that. As THQ president, I really like Jason Rubin. Great news. I hope this is truly a new start for THQ.

Yeah, THQ have some great franchises on their hands, it would be a shame to see EA and Activision buy them if THQ started selling off assets.

Noble as they may be I know if I cost my company $50 million I sure wouldn't have a job. I got fired once for yelling at a coworker and I made that company more money than anyone at my position there had previously.

It was actually more than $50 million loss in those uDraw projections. It was more like $100 million, not including the 1.4 million units sitting around, unsold. I agree with you though, noble as it may be, they really need to get their act together, ESPECIALLY the CEO.

Jason Rubin is probably the best thing that happened to them in the past 6-8 months. The sad thing, no matter how noble and great of an employee you are, one f'up can cause you your job. It seems more and more that everyone is replaceable these days.

that is a very reassuring letter from a man involved in a business that is, sorry to say, populated by some of the more immature professionals out there.

    Bravo, THQ

Fantastic news! THQ does a lot of games I like.

I am really looking forward to Southpark, and Company of Heroes 2.

We just got WWE '13 on ps3, which is a THQ game. They did a fantastic job with this one too. Honestly its the best wrestling game I have played since the N64.

Yaaaaaay Metro Last Light will be finished! I went ahead and bought the Darksiders Franchise Pack on Steam to celebrate lol. (Already own Dark Siders 1 though, mainly interested in 2 + the DLC)

Im not saying those arent great games. Im saying they just didnt have the impact on gaming like console games in comparison. Halo pretty much kickstarted the FPS genre.
